Designed by Robert Macfarlane Cameron, built in 1898 on the site of
the old Guildford Arms Hotel, the pub is famous as one of SCOTLANDS
finest real ale bars.
Today the principal reminder of it's late Victorian opulence is the
magnificent Jacobean style ceiling over the main bar: BEST viewed AT

The Guildford is the flagship of the DM Stewart Ltd group of public
houses, owned and operated as a free house by the Stewart family since
1898.
